Fantastic trekking that brings us to the discovery of one of the greatest cork-oak plantations  of the territory of Tusa, at the beginning of the Park of the Nebrodis.

First day: departure from the Tenuta Luogo Marchese, a characteristic farmhouse surrounded by the green of the Madonie Park, just a few kilometres from Cefalù. We will go across the territory of Pollina to reach the old bridle tracks that connect Pollina to the sea, we will through Rocca Pennuta (a big rock suspended with a magnificent view).

From here we will continue our way to Finale di Pollina, a small town where we make a brake for backpack lunch by the sea, it is also possible to take a bath during the summer.

Our mini trail continues across the bridle tracks of the Tardara wood where the great secular trees of cork start. Once we leave the forest of Tardara behind, we continue our journey to Tusa (a medieval fortified town). In Tusa, we'll dine and taste some local products, after which we'll spend the night in a nearby hotel.

Second day: departure from Tusa and we will continue along the bridle track  up to 1100 mts altitude, a place called Pizzo San Pietro.

We will then head back to go across the river Pollina and continue our way back to our location Tenuta Luogo Marchese, just after crossing the Celsito wood admiring the ancient olive-trees.
